- Relaxation Massage: It's name says it all. This massage has very light and slow movements.
Aimed to relax the body by reliving muscular tension and improving circulation.
- Deep Tissue Massage: Targets painful and stiff "trouble spots" in the the body. Relieves chronic
patterns of tension and helps with muscle injuries, such as back pain. High pressure is
required in this type of massage.
- Therapeutic Massage: This massage focuses on a certain area of the body where a client
feels immense pain. It alleviates pain and stress, helping soft tissue heal, and strengthening
the body.
- Swedish Massage: This massage incorporates soft, long, kneading strokes, and light,
rhythmic, tapping strokes on the top most layers of the muscles. This massage can be both
relaxing and energizing.
- Sport Massage: Developed to help with muscle systems used for a particular sport. Aimed
towards athletes and improving their training. Can help with improving flexibility, preventing
injuries, and help with muscle strains.
- Hot Stone & Warm Bamboo Massage: Warm stones are placed on certain areas of the body
to soothe and relax the body as they transmit heat into the body. Bamboo rolls are heated
in order to warm up the muscles and reduce pain in the ligaments and joints. Other massage
techniques are included.
- Lomi Lomi Massage: Hawaiian style of massage involving long flowing strokes upwards and
downwards the body. This type of massage is relaxing and regenerating to the body, beneficial
for various aliments, increasing spiritual energy, and increasing personal power (mana). Also,
Hawaiian music will be playing in the background to help the body relax.
- Thai Yoga Massage: A mix of yoga and massage to help the body relax through various types of
dynamic stretches and physical pressure along the body's energy lines and pressure points.
No oils are used and clothing must stay on the client as the session will take place on the floor
or yoga mat.
- Exfoliation Massage: It's name says it all. This type of massage helps with exfoliating the body,
the removal of dead and old skin cells on the skin's outermost surface. It aims on keeping the
skin looking young and staying healthy.
- Foot Massage: This type of massage improves circulation, cleanses toxins from the body,
reduces tension, and often eases pain in the affected area.
